Nice “car Restoration” photos

A few nice car restoration images I found:

Visit to SCR

I visited the boys up at Sports Car Restoration in Plainville, CT. I had to drop some stuff off to them for their trip to Limerock Park. I decided to hang out for a few hours with them, get a tour of the shop, and take some photos while i was there.

Its like taking a step back into the 70’s with all the BMW 2002’s that are housed there/being worked on. Most of them are shells, and look to be forgotten, but the fellas know everything about every car thats there. They do exceptional work and it was a blast to hang with them for a while. I must do it more often.

1955 AC Ace Classic Car Restoration

We restored this car for the original owner. It has been an SCCA racecar all it’s life. The car finished the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1956 and was raced through 1967 then parked in the basement. Today is the first time it has turned a wheel in over 40 years! Yes, it’s a blast to drive and NO, it is NOT for sale!! Thanks, Garland Gentry Classic Car Center, Inc. Fredericksburg, Va. www.classiccarcenter.net
